We all know that when funds are low in our economy, the arts are one of the first institutions to suffer. In response to this, some well-to-do art collectors in California have come up with a great way to share their prized art possessions with the public, while keeping our LA museums afloat as well.
"Keepin' Heads Warm" - December 25, 2009
The original plan was to hit up the rescue missions, and donate the 250 wool caps. But if you stop to think about it,
that's what most people do! They drop off donations, and never really interact with these people- I don't know about you
but to me that sounds a bit half-ass. In the end we decided to hand out half of them ourselves, and donate the other half to
the mission! Our buddy, George, and his wife arrived unexpectedly to give a helping hand which was a nice surprise!!
So, the 4 of us walked up, down, and around the 4th & Wall St. area/s passing out wool caps to our fellow man. At the end
of the day we laughed, and agreed to come better equipped next year with more caps!
X-mas Day with The Homeless! - December 24, 2009
The BLAS Company & Friends will be spending a few hours this Christmas Day handing out Wool Beanies to the homeless
within the Skid Row area/s of Downtown LA! Discounted items will also be available for purchase to the general public, so if
you got a minute come say hello, or drop in to pick up some gear!! Donation begins promptly at 12pm at the 7th & Wall
intersection, and go on till the box is empty!! We wish you all a Merry Christmas!

We were sorting through old photos the other day, and came across this one!
We had been experimenting with the idea of putting out shirts in the near future,
I don't even think we were a legit company at this time, and so we asked a friend
of a friend- (Scotty) to get experiment with The BLAS logo... Here is Scotty, 1 yr ago,
testing out our BLAS Logo for the very first time at the Gower apartment!

a new LA based Dj headlines... It's a great escape from the same thing going on
night after night with most the Hollywood clubs. If you want something new this

Style Wars - November 18, 2009
The Blas Company hit up the Cinespace last night to support our brother Paulie, who
was competing in the Style Wars Show...We managed to get a bit of promotional stuff done
apart from the photography...Here are a few snaps we took, conveying the crazy ass outfits
the designers put together!! And unfortunately, Paulie took 2nd place! But still, he's a mad
creative!
The Blas will be attending this function Sunday the 15th! Some of our boys are in the show, and are showcasing some sickkkkk art!! you guys should definitely come out and support some amazing LA based artists!

Jayden James - October 17, 2009
We had a long discussion here at The Blas, and decided it was time
to go out and meet a pornstar! So we went on a mission earlier today
and happened to catch up to Miss 'Jayden James' in the city of Upland at
a little place called The Toy Box! Here is one of our salesmen Peter with
the beautiful Jayden, who turned out to be really nice!
